GlanceUp
Drop it, glance at it, drag it out.
A shelf in your menu bar. Drop or paste anything onto it, take a real look at it, then drag it out wherever it needs to go.
GlanceUp is included in my Surprisingly Useful Bundle, along with over twenty other apps.

Drop or paste anything
Files, pictures, video, audio, PDFs, text, Markdown and links. Drag them in from Finder, Safari, Photos or Mail, or press ⌘V to paste whatever’s on the clipboard.
A real look, not an icon
Pictures zoom and pan, video and audio play and scrub, PDFs and text scroll, and Markdown renders. Everything else opens in Quick Look, and Space shows it full size.
Drag it out anywhere
Pick anything back up off the shelf and drop it into Finder, Mail, a chat or a document. GlanceUp keeps its copy, so it’s there for the next place too.
One keystroke away
Press ⌃⌥⌘G from any app. Use it as a popover under the menu bar or a floating window you can resize and leave open, even at the mouse pointer.
Your shelf, your order
Drag along the shelf to put things in order, and use the arrow keys to step through them. The shelf is still there after you quit or restart.
Nothing lost by accident
Removed something too soon? ⌘Z brings it back until GlanceUp closes, and clearing the shelf always asks first.
