Trim to the artwork.

Drop in an image and QuickCrop shaves off the transparent and white space around it, right down to the real pixels. Live preview, one tolerance slider, save in place or as a copy. A little free gift from the Surprisingly Useful family of Mac apps.

macOS 13 Ventura or later · Apple Silicon & Intel · Free, no license

QuickCrop cropping an image to its artwork
Drop an image in, watch the crop snap to the real edges, and save the trimmed result.

Drop and done

Drag any PNG, JPEG, HEIC, or TIFF onto the window. QuickCrop instantly finds the bounding box of the actual content and shows you the crop — no rectangles to draw, no guides to drag.

Live preview, one slider

Everything outside the crop dims so you see exactly what stays. A single tolerance slider dials in faint drop-shadows, off-white mats, or JPEG fringing.

Save your way

Overwrite the original in place, or save a fresh copy. The file format and transparency are preserved, so a cropped PNG stays a crisp, transparent PNG.
