MusicPop has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no telemetry. It doesn’t know who you are and never asks.
MusicPop reads your music library through Apple’s own frameworks — MusicKit for Apple Music content, and the iTunes Library framework for files stored on your Mac. It reads that library to show it to you and to play it. Nothing about your library, your listening, or your searches is collected, stored off your Mac, or sent anywhere by MusicPop.
Your search text, what you played, where you were in a track, and your settings are kept only in MusicPop’s own preferences on this Mac. There is no MusicPop server and no account to sync them to.
Three things, and nothing else:

There are no others — no analytics provider, no crash reporter, no advertising network.
MusicPop asks for access to Media & Apple Music, which is what lets it read and play your library. That is the only permission it requests. You can withdraw it at any time in System Settings ’ Privacy & Security ’ Media & Apple Music, and MusicPop will simply stop being able to show your library.
MusicPop is a general-audience utility. It collects nothing from anyone, including children.
