Prep any image, fast.
Drop an image and ImageBuddy trims it to the artwork, keys the background out to transparency, wraps it in a sticker outline, pads it, recolors the backdrop, resizes it, and can trace it to a clean SVG — all over a live chroma-key preview so every cut-out is obvious at a glance.

Trim & crop
Auto-detect the artwork's bounding box and shave off the transparent and near-white border, or draw a manual crop with a loupe and arrow-key nudge. Rotate and flip in 90° steps.
Remove the background
Flood the near-white negative space out to transparency while interior whites (eye whites, letter counters) survive — or, on macOS 14+, lift the salient subject with an on-device Vision cut-out.
Sticker outline
Wrap the cut-out in a white stroke plus a soft drop shadow. The canvas grows to fit the shadow and crops tight to the result, so the sticker looks the same with trim on or off.
Pad & add a background
Grow a transparent margin (uniform or per-side), then composite over a solid color, a gradient, or an image — the inverse of keying, applied last.
Resize & vectorize
Scale to an exact width × height with an aspect lock, or trace the silhouette (or every flat color) into scalable paths and export or copy an SVG.
Batch & split
Drop several images — or a whole folder — to queue them in a sidebar and work through them one by one. Spot a collage? Split it into separate files in one click.
