They do overlap. Both can hide your desktop icons, resize the window they’re shooting, and drop the result onto a nice background. The dividing line is what happens next: BeautyShot is built to produce a complete, repeatable set for a store listing, and HotShot is built to finish one shot and get it out the door. If you’re not sure, start with HotShot — it’s the one you’ll reach for most days.
